Armed Forces Day is celebrated in the UK as an opportunity to show gratitude and pay respect to the men and women who currently serve or have previously served in the Armed Forces.
It is an annual event that takes place on the last Saturday of June, to support, honour, and commemorate the service of men and women in the Armed Forces. Events such as Armed Forces Day also provide a much-needed morale boost for serving troops and their families.
